I woke up this morning all excited to play with the new iPhone 2.0 firmware. But after downloading itunes, downloading the 200ish meg firmware upgrade...upgrade (or better a firmware 2.0 restore) seemed to go through as planned. Nothing happened that caused me to think otherwise.
Now upon reset of the iphone, I get an error -9838, unable to connect to itunes store. So far, not a good experience.

Hmmm..so now I have no phone...This is all kinds of awesome.
WARNING! If you are at all short on disk space, or have used Windows compression on some of your drive, make sure you clear away MANY MANY GIGS of free space on your Windows system before you attempt the 2.0 firmware upgrade. My upgrade has been attempting to run for 5 hours... and all I can figure out now is that the hard drive must have become 100% full. Now, I'm at the point of having to force a reboot, and hope I can recover... NOT a fun experience.
I want to start programming, and I want to jump on the iphone/touch marked, but I don't know which books I should buy. I am looking for a book that's easy to learn from and covers everything. I am new to the whole programming thing, so a book that explains the basics would be fine.
